BIG & LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON

Big Cottonwood Canyon is a quick 25 minutes away from Salt Lake International Airport (22 miles), and is home to two world-class ski resorts (Solitude & Brighton), legendary rock climbing routes, epic backcountry skiing access, hiking and mountain biking trails, and picnic areas straight out of an outdoor magazine. So come take a drive through this ancient canyon created by both glacier and stream erosion. Pack a picnic and maybe your hiking boots to stretch your legs.

Millcreek Canyon

Millcreek Canyon is a canyon in the Wasatch Mountains and part of Millcreek City on the east side of the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. It is a popular recreation area both in the summer and in the winter. It was named after all the mills that were once located in the densely forested canyon.

Lindsey Gardens Park

Pets are welcome to run and play off-leash in this designated area of Lindsey Gardens park. Be careful as the area is not fenced, and be sure to bring water.

MEMORY GROVE

This park features memorials to Utah’s veterans and a replica of the Liberty Bell. City Creek Canyon road is a walking, jogging, and bicycling route extending into the mountains to the northeast

Bonneville Shorline Trail

The Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST) will one day stretch from the Idaho border to Nephi, more than 280 miles. Currently just over 100 miles of the route is officially designated as part of the BST. This website is a guide to the entire 280 mile proposed route. The route attempts to follow the bonneville bench that was formed by the ancient lake. The route described here is not yet fully designated as the BST, the route may cross private property or other obstacles, please be aware of signs, fences and unmarked obstacles. This trail is a work in progress, it was started by citizens and will be finished by them with your help.

Sugar House Park

Sugar House Park, considered a “crown jewel” among regional parks in the Salt Lake Valley, comprises 110.5 acres of lush, rolling green space in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the summer, and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the winter.

Real Salt Lake is an American professional soccer franchise that competes as a member club of Major League Soccer Western Conference. RSL began play in 2005 as an expansion team of the league. The club was founded in 2004 when the club's first owner and founder was awarded an expansion berth in Major League Soccer.

The Utah Jazz are an American professional basketball team based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Jazz compete in the National Basketball Association as a member club of the league's Western Conference, Northwest Division. Since 1991, the team has played its home games at Vivint Smart Home Arena
